Dean is a broke college student in Palo Alto. School is expensive. For Dean, there are 2 possible solutions. First, he can get a part-time job. He applied to a bunch of on-campus jobs, did many interviews, and got rejected by most. He finally got a job at the ticket office's front desk. He hates his job. He has to work on weekends and do paperwork for hours.
During his spare time, he gives his friends haircuts. If given the chance, he'd rather do haircuts than do paperwork at the ticket office. One day, his friend Marina suggested that he can go to CampusGigs to browse what students around him need. Apparently, there are a lot of other students looking for on-campus barbers. Dean offered his skills to these students and made a lot of cash. Turns out, there are other gigs that Dean could do too!
After some time, business is popping and Dean's happy that he can work around his own schedule and earn $25 per haircut. There's only 1 last thing he needs to do. Obviously, he needs a logo for his barbershop. But, because Dean has the graphic design skills of a toddler, he decides to request a logo design on CampusGigs. Another student, Selina, took the request and designed a baller logo for Dean, earning her $30. Dean ended up quitting his desk job and they all lived happily ever after.
