1. Fair compensation for all gigs: All gigs posted on CampusGigs should be compensated fairly. Users should not post gigs that require work to be done in exchange for free or low compensation, or that exploit the labor of others. Users should also be transparent about the compensation they are offering for a gig, and should not make false promises or misrepresent the compensation. We implement a $16/hr minimum on any gig. Depending on the gig type and difficulty, we recommend paying more than $16. Gigs posted for less than $16 will be limited to gigs such as surveys, lending, and other quick tasks.
2. No posting cleaning for personal use. This includes examples such as but not limited to doing one's laundry, vacuuming, cleaning bedrooms.
3. Users of our app are expected to abide by the Stanford University Honor Code and any other relevant university rules and policies. This includes, but is not limited to, refraining from cheating, providing unpermitted academic aid, and plagiarizing. Failure to comply with these standards may result in disciplinary action.
4. No illegal activities or content will be allowed on the platform. This includes but is not limited to drug trafficking, weapons trafficking, or other illegal activities or content.
5. No misinformation or false information will be allowed on the platform. Users must not post or spread information that is not factual or true.
6. No obscene or sexually explicit content will be allowed on the platform. This includes but is not limited to pornography, sexually suggestive images or language, and any other content that is not appropriate for a general audience.
7. No bullying or harassment will be tolerated on the platform. Users must not engage in behavior that is intended to intimidate, threaten, or harm another user.
8. No hate speech or discrimination will be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or otherwise discriminatory language or behavior.
9. No spamming or unauthorized advertising will be allowed on the platform. Users must not use the platform to promote their own services or products without permission or to send unsolicited messages or advertisements.
10. No misinformation or false information will be allowed on the platform. Users must not post or spread information that is not factual or true.
Violations of these community standards may result in the removal of content, suspension of account, or termination of account. CampusGigs reserves the right to enforce these standards at its sole discretion and to make changes to this agreement at any time.
